What it means to have faith |
 |

Hebrews 11 |
Now faith is being sure of what we hope
for and certain of what we do not see." -- Hebrews 11:1.
It sounds like a contradiction, but the Bible teaches
that faith is visualizing the future in the present.
It's being sure of what you don't see – It is seeing it
in advance. Man says: "Seeing is believing." God says:
"Believing is seeing." |

Psalm 4:4

your bed, and be still. Selah.
I remember reading this and saying tremble and do
not sin and saying I'm pissed and you want me to
not sin, I feel like smack the dude in the mouth. It is
hard sometimes in the workplace to control the emotions
when co-workers don't have the same values as you do.
I'm sitting in a meeting and up pops George with his
power-point presentation and about to present a great
idea that will save the company millions and low and
behold its your idea you were going to present to your
boss tomorrow. Okay now I am trembling. What do I do to
not sin. I am thinking about a new taekwondo move on
him. Then I remember the scripture and see if I can put
into practice.
1st - do not sin. - I don't react and open the trap
2nd- be still and let god handle it - sit back and
let god show me how to respond.
I bet your wondering did I smack him, embarrass him,
call him out or get up and leave.
Well I confronted him 1 on 1 and he just said you snooze
you lose. But I can hold my head high and know my Lord
is proud of me. We have to remember Psa
37:7
Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do
not fret when men succeed in their ways, when they carry
out their wicked schemes.
Have a blessed day and remember to meditate in your
heart and be still
